Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse with Level 1 ventilator training to join our team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring their well-being and recovery in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to neonates in a Level 1 NICU setting.
• Monitor and manage ventilated infants, ensuring safe and effective respiratory support.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutritional support as per clinical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to parents and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with NICU experience.
• Level 1 ventilator training with competency in neonatal ventilation.
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal care and intensive support.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced unit.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
