Your primary responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments are sterile and ready, assisting the surgical team during operations, and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the operating room.
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Monitor the patient's condition and provide necessary support during procedures.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and available.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.
- Maintain accurate records of the procedure and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Proven experience as a Scrub Nurse in an operating room setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
