Job Description: Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team in Waltham Abbey. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children's progress, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the smooth running of the nursery.
- Exhibit leadership skills in managing daily routines and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interactions with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in managing groups of children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- A passion for childcare, with a creative approach to play-based learning.
