Key Responsibilities

Due to the manner and exceptional standard of the service we provide our employees with our expectation is that they deliver the same level of service to our clients. Working as an A&E Nurse for Nutrix Personnel, your main responsibility will be centred around the provision of an exceptional care and treatment to A&E patients. This will require performing a number of duties such as:

  • Conduct preliminary examinations of patients arriving in A&E, determining their condition
  • Refer patients to relevant departments based on their health status and requirements.
  • Keeping detailed and accurate notes of all patients
  • Taking over the care of patients from paramedics
  • Pain relief medicine administration and applying dressings
  • Completion of all required paperwork for patient discharge
  • Communicate with family members and provide them with updates and information


Essential requirements

  • Having a proven track record of working as part of a clinical team for a minimum of two years
  • Possessing a current and active NMC pin number
  • The completion of a full enhanced DBS check (Disclosure Baring service)
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK

  • Passionate towards helping others and seeing how your work has a positive impact
  • The capability to perform a wide range of emergency procedures the likes of administering pain relief, taking blood and resuscitation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely as part of the team as well as by yourself
  • An empathic and diplomatic approach towards patients and colleagues
  • The ability to multitask and to work under pressure
  • Great decision-making skills.


Working hours and benefits

Our current Registered A&E Nurse roles in Swansea pay a salary between £28 - £40 per hour.

Having roles available which cover both day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday, we can offer flexible working hours to our workers. Night shifts, weekends and bank holidays are all paying premium rates.
